Introduction
HFK 600-S is a high-chromium cast iron surfacing welding wire. This submerged arc hardfacing flux cored wire is suitable for welding surfaces that require strong wear resistance. The Cr7C3 hard phase disperses in the matrix.
Typical applications
Used for surfacing in situations which normal and medium temperature abrasion and corrosion resistance are needed. Application examples include turbine blades, blast furnace bells, and wear plates.
